Mother-Child Relationship

Mothers are connected with their children even before birth. They have a very crucial role in their child’s mental and physical health because they provide basic needs (i.e. food, water, shelter). This forms a protective attachment and a strong bond with their child.
This relationship develops an emotional attachment between a mother and her child. Children who have healthy relationships with their mothers are more likely to form firm associations later in life.




Forming a strong relationship with your little ones involves:

Ø         making kids feel protected and valued
Ø         Holding them with love
Ø         Appreciating them on their achievements improves their self-esteem
Ø         Providing a healthy and friendly living environment
Ø        Talking to them about their issues
Ø         Laughing and playing with them, which helps to improve their 
      self- confidence and also grooms them to carve a better future
Ø        Making sure that they get enough sleep
Ø        Feeding and eating with them at mealtimes
Ø        Having suitable expectations for them and setting boundaries


In addition, setting boundaries is an important part of the mother-child relationship. If you observe an intolerable behavior, then treat the child with patience and love.

Connection starts with listening. Try and see things from your child’s perspective and foster mutual respect.

Find some time to talk to your child without any interruption, even 10 minutes a day can make an effective difference in establishing good emotional balance. Turn off the TV, put away distractive gadgets and spend some quality time together. Eating together as a family sets the stage for conversation.
Moreover, playing is significant to children’s growth. It is an inevitable part of education. It is a source of healthy recreation. It builds a child’s personality and establishes moral values like honesty, dignity, self-esteem and responsibility. As well as it being enjoyable and aiding you develop your bond with your child, it can help children’s to augment their language skills, emotions, creativity and social skills.


A child learns from the lap of his mother as it is a first seminary for a child. A mother’s role in building a nation is exemplary.  Her training can create leaders who molded the fate of their nations.
